Green Materials Database
Problem:
How do you encourage Chinese designers and architects to use sustainable building materials and processes.
Solution:
The GIGA answer is to generate positive change by creating an online database of materials tailored specifically for China. Working closely with GIGA we helped realize this vision as an online platform based upon Drupal that allowed users to contribute and rate materials. GIGA launched and was recognized by the Clinton Global Initiative in 2009 and became an independent non-profit research foundation supported by the Western China Human Resources Development Foundation.
